Likes: Mutual pining, getting together fic, Friends-to-Lovers, forced proximity, fake relationship, size difference, plentiful description, first kisses, characters failing to communicate, tough characters showing vulnerability or wanting to show vulnerability but not knowing how, Idiots in Love, situations that start out as intimidating but end up sexy, manipulative morally grey characters getting their way, UST.
Smut likes: romantic sex, D/s dynamics, frottage (both clothed and rubbing genitals varieties), orgasm delay, praise kink, dubcon, voyeurism, loving & slow oral, omegaverse (prefer no dualsex on omegas but female alphas can have penises!), breeding kink, pregnancy kink, creampie.

How many words have you written this year?
264,120 published right now, but there is still about 10k unpublished of the Dale/Merle OW story and two WIPs which are also about 10k at the moment both.
How many works did you publish this year?
32 works, which seems like a lot.
What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?
A boy by any other name, kinky feminization m/m OW that was just pure idfic all the way through, my most qualmless fic of the year by far. It's a story I thought about for so long before writing and continue to think about it after finishing, because.. yeah.
What work of yours has the most hits?
It's also A boy by any other name! Kinky shit sure gets hits, doesn't it?
What work of yours got more feedback than you expected?
Push, then shove, a Wynette Texas het spanking PWP. I mean, realistically writing kinky PWP for romance novels which are two decades old shouldn't probably get any comments at all, but I found a fellow SEP fan among ffa and here we are. Blessed, crops thriving etc. The tag only has my fics in it now, but hey maybe next year.
Favorite title you used
All you get are second chances, a f/m time loop OW fic. It's not brilliant but I like it and it captures the time loop theme well. I also didn't want to name A boy by any other name again here, but damn, I love that title, too.
If you use song lyrics, which artist’s songs did you pull from the most?
I do use song lyrics but I don't think I used a single artist twice this year. Maybe Valencia? Idk.
Pairing you wrote the most for this year?
Gabi/Sir from Found!!! My beloved weird kidnapper trauma obsession age gap teacher/student pairing. I think I wrote 7 shippy fics total and 3 gen fics that still centered on their whole thing.

Is it wrong to go with OW here? I will so I don't name Gabi/Sir again.
Straight man/his friend in drag in Dale/Merle is my favorite pairing I wrote this year because they are just..!!! I love their chemistry and bickering and cluelessness.
What work was the quickest to write?
Probably Locked up tight, the Found "Lacey captures Sir" AU with torture and other dark themes. It's very stream of consciousness and I didn't want to edit it to death so I wrote it over 90 minutes one evening, edited once and posted. I also wrote the Wynette Texas smut stories pretty quickly.
What work took you the longest to write?
Uhh, probably A boy by any other name again. Or maybe Dale/Merle since I'm still working on the kinky epilogue for it.
How many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year?
Five. Three OW projects and two fanfics I'm hoping to eventually get done.

Mark from Better left unsaid, the m/m OW virgin dudebro/his nerdy slutty friend. His perspective was just so funny. That one is also my most popular exchange fic by a country mile.
Then Mat from namesake romcom because he's just the character I will never stop writing, it seems. (Honestly my best idiot characters all have a bit of Mat in them. Now you know my secret.)
The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?
All the vampires in the Vampire Chronicles wrestling AU fic were difficult to pin down but I'm proud of the results anyway. Please support my niche of niche fic Vampires Du Catch.
What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?
Writing so much het smut gave me the confidence to embrace my inner basic het lover. Maybe I'll dip into some old OTPs like Mia/Diego from Ace Attorney.
I only wrote one wrestling story this year and of course it was Hangman/Swerve, whose psychosexual feud is amazing, but I just can't find the time or interest to follow wrestling this year, even for my boy Hanger getting a new soulmate. Love that for him, though.

Disgusting but it's A boy by any other name again. It's just good filth, Brent. And Dale/Merle which I will read for editing but also just because it's fun and they're fun and I love them.
How many kudos in total did you get this year?
Right now the counter stands at 1,226 kudos total. I didn't write a single big fandom this year so that's good enough for the circumstances. (Found is Yuletide sized and I only wrote one AEW story.)
Which work has the most comments?
Better left unsaid, my most popular work this year. People really loved it. It also got the most kudos.
Did you do any collaborative works this year?
Not really unless getting a podfic made of my work counts. (It's this one. ❤️)
Did you write any gifts this year?
Yes. I wrote treats for people in S4S, Summer of Horror and FIAB and pinch hit for OWO, where I also wrote two additional treats. I don't love doing a million things on deadline so I'll try not to do too many exchanges but I think this year was just the right amount. Case in point: I started two treats but was unable to finish them and abandoned both as result. I don't like to overbook myself since when a good idea hits I want to be able to write it and not be too busy for it.
Did you receive any gifts this year?
Yes! I only signed up for two exchanges as a participant but ended up getting long Armadale fluff and two stories for the OW works exchange. One was a 15k m/m story with excellent smut and the other a f/m femdom fic.
What’s your most common category?
M/M at 17 works. F/M had 14 so not that far behind.
What do you listen to while writing?
Silence, I can't focus otherwise.

God, so many! Obviously Dale/Merle has already been mentioned a lot. I'm proud of getting my ass into a fandom with Found again.
I loved so many OW stories but I think I have to name Nobody gets that close, my faxpunk OW continuation, which is prince/bodyguard and just unapologetically smutty and full of pining and unspoken feelings and two guys who really belong together despite all their messiness. I love it so much! The dominant bottom scenes are probably the hottest to me thing I wrote all year.

Biggest surprise while writing this year?
Noticing that people do seem to find non-exchange omegaverse OW since When you're caught I wake up (m/m OW pregnancy kink) got a decent amount of kudos and is absolutely soaring in terms of hits. Related: I write omegaverse now I guess!
Also surprised I've gotten as comfortable as I have with f/m smut, which used to be insurmountable for me before. My favorite one is probably Tired of balance, Wynette Texas femdom pwp. Lot of femdom this year, look at that.

2. Do you read/reread your own fics?
Tragically, constantly. Maybe not all stories all the time, but most of them, sometimes. Some more than others.
3. What’s your favorite fic that you’ve written?
That's difficult! I'm certainly proud of a few, but I think my favorite may actually be something I wrote in Finnish. It was a story about a deeply troubled man, who shuffles through friendships, relationships and drug addiction, and woven throughout were all these references to fictional books and movies. It was the kind of thing I re-read and was shocked that I wrote it. I tried translating some of it, but it's not like the prose is great, I just really loved the character and my own ideas.

I can't say for sure I'll never write it, but I've got an interactive story idea forfaxpunk universe that seems like a long shot, given how much time it would take to pull off.

Then my faxpunk planning file has 5 quick outlines for stories I might write in that universe. They are very incomplete, though, and probably need to continue living in my head before I write, though.

I write to silence. I used to have cool playlists with classical and instrumental music, but I've switched laptops and all my music is on an external.

Depends on the story a lot! I kind of had to plan for plottier things like faxpunk Ergo/Konstantin or the OFMD wrestling AU, just to know what happens and in which order, and to fit in everything I want to. But a lot of things I just fly off the seat of my pants and have an idea where I'm going but no written down plan for it.
14. If you could see one of your fics adapted into a visual medium, such as comic or film, which fan fic would you pick?
Ooh. Faxpunk manga series, please.
15. How do you come up with titles for your fics/chapters?
I'm so boring, a lot of the time they're just song lyrics. Or bits of poetry.
16. At what point in the process do you come up with titles?
Most often it's the last thing I come up with, but if I find a good one I put it into the file, then second guess it a million times before posting.
17. What’s something you’ve learned about while doing research for a fic?

Yes, I just did off an exchange fic. I wanted to put smut in it but I didn't do it justice and felt it was better to just take it off.

Mat is out with Gus and Silvia. He asked Matej to join them because if Matej talks to Silvia it usually means she's not constantly taking the piss out of Mat. It’s definitely not because he wants to spend more time with Matej.
Silvia being occupied doesn't mean that Gus won't find a way to annoy him, however, Mat realises half-way through his second pint.
"You're still not dating him?" Gus asks, his eyes landing on Matej and Silvia talking at the other end of the table. The pub is crowded enough that Mat knows they won't hear them, which is good, because Gus somehow has gotten in his head that Mat is obsessed with the Slovak, which he isn't. He's just very enthusiastic about their very casual thing.
"Mate," Mat says, exasperated and hopes that suffices as denial enough.
"That's a no, then?" Gus smiles against the rim of his drink. "He's actually lovely, and fucking clever, too. Shame you're not dating."
"We've got an understanding," Mat says and doesn't meet Gus' eye.
"That's good because I was actually thinking one of Silvia's Italian mates is single. A bit taller than you, bi, probably a good match for him, honestly."
"Alright, settle down." Mat shoves his shoulder hard enough for Gus' drink to nearly spill, but Gus doesn't stop grinning, the fucker.
"I'll text him right now, tell him what bar we're off to next," Gus says and makes a show of taking out his phone.
Mat snatches it from his hand. "Sincerely, fuck off." He repeats it in Slovenian, switching languages.
"Fine enough." Gus holds his hands up, and then points one finger towards the bar. "Looks like another man is after him already."
